Request Delivery
Submit a request to initiate the delivery of consignments. Provide necessary details to help Rednote process the request securely and efficiently. We may attempt to contact you for verification.
More than just a service, it’s a promise. The sender entrusted us with the delivery of their messages, and now, more than ever, it’s our duty to fulfill that trust, honoring their wishes with care and dedication.
Standard Delivery Process
  1. Video Upload and Encryption:
    • Rednote users upload videos to Rednote's cloud storage.
    • Videos are split into data packets, securely encrypted and stored in distributed cloud storages to protect content integrity and privacy.
  2. Recipient Notification Upon Consignment:
    • Once the sender successfully uploads a consignment, recipients are notified about the consignments intended for them.
    • Notifications include a summary but not access to the videos.
  3. Periodic Reminders to Recipients:
    • Recipients receive periodic notifications reminding them of the number of consignments awaiting future delivery.
  4. Delivery Request Submission:
    • When a delivery trigger is satisfied, recipients can submit a request for delivery of the consignments via Rednote website.
    • If the delivery trigger is Death, then all consignments from all delivery trigger will be delivered upon confirmation.
    • If the delivery trigger is other specific condition, then only consignmenst with such delivery trigger will be delivered upon confirmation.
  5. Verification Process:
    • Rednote attempts to verify the request by contacting the sender or the recipient based on the sender's predefined delivery instructions.
    • If verification fails, the system follows the sender’s predefined preference:
      • Option 1: Proceed with the delivery.
      • Option 2: Cancel the delivery.
  6. Delivery Email to Recipient:
    • Once delivery is authorized, the recipient receives an email containing secure links to the videos.
    • Links are valid for 180 days, allowing recipients to download the consignments.
    • Additional reminder emails will be sent if the download did not initiate after the first 30 days.
  7. Video Removal from Cloud Storage:
    • Videos are automatically deleted from the cloud storage 180 days after delivery is triggered.
    • A notification confirming deletion may be sent for audit purposes.
Custom Delivery Solutions

Rednote offers tailored delivery and preservation services to meet the unique needs of recipients, enhancing the accessibility and longevity of video consignments. These services are designed to cater to individuals who may need additional support to access their messages.

  1. Extended Storage and Accessibility:
    • Recipients can opt for extended access to secure links beyond the standard 180-day period for an additional fee.
  2. Transfer to Personal Hardware:
    • Videos can be stored on physical storage hardware such as USB drives or external hard drives and mailed directly to recipients.
  3. Personal Home Visit Assistance:
    • A dedicated service allows Rednote representatives to visit the recipient's home with a mobile computer or projector to facilitate video playback. This option is ideal for elderly recipients or those unfamiliar with technology.
  4. In-Studio Viewing Experience:
    • Recipients can schedule a visit to Rednote Studio's mini-cinema, a private and comfortable setting where they can view their consignments on a big screen.
  5. Familex Account Integration:
    • If the recipient is an existing Rednote subscriber with a Familex account, videos can be securely transferred to their account for long-term access.
  6. Applicable Charges for Custom Services:
    • Provision and shipping of storage hardware (e.g., USB drives or external drives).
    • Postage or courier delivery services.
    • Home visits, including transportation and equipment setup.
    • In-studio video viewing sessions, including facility use and other support services.
    • Extended link access fees.
  7. Inform Rednote for Custom Delivery Services:
    • Use the Request Delivery form and enter your custom delivery requests in the comment field to let us know your needs.
